P.C. Jansen Marine Agencies is active in a number of markets, mainly related to the marine industry. Below you will find a summary of our activities in different market areas.Offshore
Our main market is still the offshore industry, to which we sell numerous different products on behalf of most of our principals.
Our products are used for several applications, such as:
- GN Rope Fittings shackles and thimbles for Single Point Moorings
- Hippo Marine chain support/chain though buoys and pickups for Single Point Moorings
- Equipment from GN Rope Fittings and J.D.T. in rigging shops
- Yokohama and Hippo Marine floating fenders for FPSO's and rigs
- Fittings (GN Rope Fittings) and welded chain slings (J.D.T.) on supply and AH vessels
- Aids to navigation - eg Racons and Marine Lanterns - from Tideland Signal
Traditionally, the fishing industry was of great importance to P.C. Jansen Marine Agencies, but the importance of this industry has decreased over the last decade. Still, we are supplying to the Northsea fishing industry regularly.
Typically, we supply products like the following:
- Relatively small shackles and thimbles (GN Rope Fittings)
- Chain and accessories from J.D.T.
- Rigging shop equipment
- Hydraulic swaging presses and dies
Port construction is a fast growing pillar of P.C. Jansen Marine Agencies. Apart from the supply of products, we can also support contractors, port authorities, engineering companies and other parties involved in the pre-tender and design stage.
We have a broad portfolio of products used in this area:
- Floating Yokohama and Hippo Marine foam elastomer fenders
- Fixed rubber panel fender system from Maritime International
- Quay side bollards and mooring pins from EJ Bean
- UHMW-PE fender (panels) from Orbilan
- AtoN and VTS systems from Tideland Signal
With regard to complex projects like LNG terminals, we operate under the umbrella of FenderCare IMS (Integrated Mooring Systems), which combines the forces of the FenderCare Group and her sister company Strainstall AMTS for Quick Release Mooring Hooks and Berth Monitoring Systems.
In combination with Tideland Signal, P.C. Jansen Marine Agencies can offer a complete solution for high profile projects like this.
Ship building is a small part of our business, but becoming increasingly important.
Currently our involvement in this market involves:
- Light weight yacht fendering from Hippo Marine
- Rubber fender profiles for tug boats from FenderCare
- Special rubber tug boat fenders from Maritime International
We alsways have been active with supplying equipment to naval forces, for which we have a special product range.
Currently our involvement in this market involves:
- Light weight on-board Hippo Marine and Yokohama fenders
- Quay wall fendering - foam-elastomer fenders from Hippo Marine
- Submarine fendering
- Licht weight fast patrol boat fendering
- Winding machines
Still a large part of our turnover is related to general industrial demands, mainly focussing on lifting equipment for small and midrange sized wire rope.
Most commonly, the requirements from this market involves:
- Lifting chains and accessories (J.D.T.)
- Small lifting blocks, fittings and sheaves (CAH)
- Small sockets (GN Rope Fittings)
Since March 2011 we are also capable of supplying oil spill response equipment.
