Help for using the gadgets on this website

On this website we have implemented the possibilities that Microsoft® Tag offer on a number of pages.

Using Microsoft ® Tag is very simple and only requires you to download a small piece of software and install it on your mobile device. Please note that your mobile device (smart phone, blackberry, PDA, or similar equipment) needs to be equiped with a camera. Just follow the next steps:

  1. Use the browser on your mobile to go to http://gettag.mobi
  2. Follow the instruction to download and install the TagReader software
  3. After installing the software, make sure the lens cover is removed
  4. Locate the TagReader software (eg in your download or utilities folder) and start the software
  5. Move the camera to capture the picture in the center of the screen and make a picture of the Tag
  6. The software will decode the tag, retreive the information from the Internet and show you the result
In case you scanned a vCard, the software will allow you to add the vCard content directly to your address book. In case you scanned directions, a map will show on your screen with the route you need to follow.
