P.C. Jansen Marine Agencies is a privately owned company, established in 1974 by Pieter C. Jansen. In 1995 Robin W.A. Jansen joined his father part time in the company, in order to become co-owner in 2001.

Over the last couple of years, the company has gone through a number of legal stages and became a "BV" (Dutch equivalent of a Limited) in 2006.

The company is still run by Pieter and Robin Jansen.
